377th pictureFollowing the events of 9/11, the 377th expanded its operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with the deployment of its early entry -module (EEM) to Camp Doha, Kuwait. From there, teams were dispatched throughout the AOR to include Turkey, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman. The 377th TSC also mobilized a large team lead by then Brigadier General Kratzer to Afghanistan to establish the Combined Joint Civil-Military Affairs Task Force headquartered in Kabul.

Late 2002 and early 2003, the 377th TSC again expanded its operations to support Operation Iraqi Freedom with the deployment of its main headquarters from New Orleans to Kuwait. The 377th TSC and its subordinate commands expanded to over 40,000 combined and joint combat support and combat service support troops. Today, it continues its mission with its main headquarters in New Orleans and a large forward headquarters in Kuwait and its troops providing support throughout the USCENTCOM AOR.

As the Army transforms to prepare itself for the next conflict, the 377th TSC
will continue to lead the way by integrating emerging technology to maximize the
efficiency of theater distribution, achieving true total asset visibility, synchronizing rear area operations, rapidly implementing new joint and coalition doctrine and providing the best trained and ready soldiers and units to support the continuing war on terrorism.
