Naval Ambulatory Care Clinic
As one of 10 branch health clinics that are part of Navy Hospital Pensacola, Florida, our three facilities located at Naval Support Activity (West Bank and East Bank) and NAS JRB New Orleans provide out-patient, wellness and dental services for more than 30,000 beneficiaries stationed in the greater New Orleans area. A large -number of our beneficiaries, including selected reservists, receive healthcare benefits at the NAS JRB clinic site. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0700-1600, except for closure on Thursday afternoons. The clinic is closed on weekends and federal holidays.
Our primary care managers provide comprehensive care and preventive medical services. The Aviation Medicine Division supports local squadrons and provides physical examinations for a diverse number of military programs. The health benefits advisor facilitates referral information as the referrals are processed by Naval Hospital Pensacola and our civilian network partner, Humana. Selected reserve providers, including flight surgeons, augment the Navy Operational Support Center FTS medical staff on twice--monthly drill weekends to provide physical health assessments and physical -examinations.
Dental Clinic
Branch Dental Clinics, Naval Support Activity (NSA) and Joint -Reserve Air Base (NAS) have the capabilities to perform general dentistry, oral surgery, prosthetics, endodontics, periodontics, hygiene and technician dental cleanings. Our hours of operations are Monday through Friday, 0700-1530, with lunch from 1130-1200.
The Annex Dental Clinic is located at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse. The main Branch Dental Clinic, New Orleans, is located at the riverside entrance, first floor of the F. Edward Hebert Building. The clinic is co-located with the Naval Ambulatory Care Center, New Orleans.
